How do you use a BMW wifi hotspot?
My husband just bought a new BMW and to celebrate we’re going on a weekend road trip. I know the car has some sort of wifi capabilities. I’d really like to try them out while we’re on the road. How can we use our BMW’s wifi hotspot?

Congratulations on your new BMW! You and your husband must be thrilled about all the new and innovative features. To get the wifi hotspot working in your
BMW
, follow these simple steps:- Select Communication in your BMW’s main menu.
- Find Manage mobile devices then Connect new Device.
- Select Internet Apps. From there, you will find Internet Hotspot.
- Your BMW hotspot will now be discoverable for the next two minutes.
- Enter the information given into the device you are trying to connect.
Your BMW may also display a QR code, which you can scan with your smartphone’s camera. Doing so will ask you if you’d like to connect to your BMW’s network. From there, you’ll need to log in and choose a data plan.
