How do you turn on a heated steering wheel in a Ford Escape?
My hands tend to get really cold—especially in the winter. But my friend said that my Ford Escape actually comes with a heated steering wheel! Unfortunately, I don’t know how to work it. What steps should I take to turn on the heated steering wheel in my Ford Escape?

Heated steering wheels are a winter luxury that makes the whole driving experience a lot more fun! Luckily, they’re also easy to use. Follow these steps to turn on the heated steering wheel in your Ford Escape:
- Navigate to the Climate menu on the touchscreen.
- Press menu.
- Tap on the steering wheel icon in the right-side column to heat the steering wheel.
If you don’t see the steering wheel icon, your model may not be equipped with the heated steering wheel feature. That said, heated steering wheels are a standard part of 2021 Ford Escapes. If you bought a current model, then you likely have the option.
