isn’t difficult.Since you want to switch to your sister’s insurance company, start by requesting a quote from them. Your sister is paying less than you currently, but insurance rates vary from person to person. Many factors determine insurance rates, so you’re not guaranteed to find a better rate.
By requesting a quote, you can see what you’d be paying with her company. If you like the quote that her insurance gives you, you begin the switching process.
Before you agree to the new policy, inform your current company that you’re going to switch insurers. While you can switch or cancel your insurance at any time, some providers charge cancellation fees. Informing them first ensures you aren’t surprised with additional fees when you cancel. In other cases, you may get a prorated refund on your insurance.
After you’ve purchased the new policy, you can then cancel your prior policy. However, don’t cancel the old insurance before finalizing your new policy. If any issues arise with the switch, canceling can cause a
