You’ll need foam batting, nuts and bolts a screwdriver, and measuring tape to secure a tool chest on your truck bed. Once you have the
necessary tools and supplies
, complete the following steps to install a truck bed toolbox:- Choose the location you want your tool chest to be in your truck bed
- Measure the bottom of the tool chest
- Cut foam padding to size and place beneath the tool chest
- Locate the holes in your truck bed and remove the rubber plugs
- Align the tool chest with the holes on the surface of your truck bed
- Secure the tool chest with the nuts and bolts
