You’ll need foam batting, nuts and bolts a screwdriver, and measuring tape to secure a tool chest on your truck bed. Once you have the
necessary tools and supplies
, complete the following steps to install a truck bed toolbox:
  • Choose the location you want your tool chest to be in your truck bed
  • Measure the bottom of the tool chest
  • Cut foam padding to size and place beneath the tool chest
  • Locate the holes in your truck bed and remove the rubber plugs
  • Align the tool chest with the holes on the surface of your truck bed
  • Secure the tool chest with the nuts and bolts
