Resetting the oil life on a 2016
Honda Accord
is a cinch! All you need to do is locate the trip button and press and release it a number of times until your oil life reads 100%.Just follow these steps:
- Press the push-button start twice with your foot off the brake to initialize accessories mode.
- Locate the trip button on the right side of the instrument cluster.
- Press it a few times until you see oil life at the bottom.
- Press and hold the trip button again for 10 seconds.
- At this point, the oil life should start to flash.
- Once the oil life starts to flash, release the trip button.
- Press and hold the trip button again until oil life reads 100%.
