I’ve been meaning to connect my garage door opener with my car but I lost my car’s manual and can’t find the instructions. How do you program the garage door opener in a Hyundai Santa Fe?

  • Hold your hand-held opener a few inches from the buttons on your rearview mirror
  • Press and hold the first and third buttons on your mirror
  • Wait for a red light on the mirror to flash and then release the buttons
  • Press and hold the button on your garage door opener and the button you’d like to program on your car simultaneously
  • The red light will flash slowly
  • Once the light flashes rapidly, you can release both buttons
