Toyota Highlander
from 2016—you just need to know where to look.The 2016 Toyota Highlander uses an electronic fuel tank door release button located below the steering wheel to the left. You should see a black rectangular button with the image of a gas pump on it near the car hood release lever.
Just press that button to unlock the gas tank on your 2016 Toyota Highlander, and you should have no problem filling up the tank. Don’t forget to screw in the gas cap and close the door when you’re done!
