How do you open the fuel door on a 2017 Toyota Avalon?
Can you tell me how to open the fuel door on my 2017 Toyota Avalon? I just bought it and I feel silly because I can’t find the little switch to open the fuel door. I’m running out of gas! Is there some sort of trick I’m missing?

To open the door on Avalons from model years 2013 to 2018, you won’t push a button or pull a lever like in most cars; instead, you need to push on the fuel lid. If your car is unlocked, the door should pop open. If your car is locked, however, the fuel door will lock as well. This protects your car from theft or tampering and prevents the fuel door from being triggered accidentally while you’re driving!
