How do you open a Kia Soul hood?

I’m a somewhat new owner of a Kia Soul. I was going to check my oil levels, but I cannot figure out how to open this hood! How do you open a Kia Soul hood?

Figuring out how to open a car hood can be unexpectedly tricky since it can vary from vehicle to vehicle. Opening the hood on your
Kia Soul
 is just a matter of finding the right hood release levers.
You should find the first hood release lever inside the cabin of your vehicle, to the left of your steering wheel and toward the ground, near your driver’s side door. The lever has an image of a car with its hood lifted; pull on the hood release lever once you’ve found it.
To find the second hood release lever, head to the front of your vehicle. You’ll find it just under the lip of your
Kia
’s hood at the center. Once you’ve found it, push the latch upwards to pop the hood.
After you’re done taking a look under your Kia Soul’s hood, it might be worth revisiting your
