Opening a car hood can be deceptively difficult since it can vary slightly from vehicle to vehicle.
To open your 2011
Cadillac DTS
hood, you’ll first have to locate the hood release lever inside your car’s cabin. You’ll find it on the lower left side of your instrument panel or to the left of your steering wheel, near the floor and your driver’s side door. The lever has a symbol of a car with its hood propped open.After you pull up on the hood release lever inside your car, you’ll need to go to the front end of your vehicle and locate a second hood release lever near the center of your
Cadillac
DTS hood. The lever needs to move up and to the right (toward the driver’s side) to release.Once you’ve released both levers, you should be able to prop open your Cadillac DTS’s hood and take a peek inside.
