How do you make a drift car in Gran Turismo 5?

I can’t figure out how to make a drift car in Gran Turismo 5 and it’s driving me crazy! Normally I don’t look online for stuff like this, but I’m so confused. Can you help me?

Games like this can be confusing sometimes! To make a drift car in Gran Turismo 5, you’ll need to choose
the wheel
 rather than the controller. While the wheel does make the game a little more difficult, it makes drifting much easier and smoother.
If you choose the controller you’ll still be able to drift, but it won’t be as easy or smooth as it would be with the wheel. Once you have the wheel, set up the car of your choice and start practicing!
