How do you lock a Ford Focus from the inside?

This feels like a silly question, but is there any way to lock a Ford Focus from the inside? I have an older model, which might be part of the problem—but I can’t find internal locking controls anywhere!

You’re not the only one, so try not to worry! The button for locking a Ford Focus from the inside is hidden on the driver’s side door handle.
Look closely at your interior door handle. There should be a lock switch above the big handle. If you push the switch it will lock all of your doors from the outside, but you’ll still be able to open them from the inside.
If you can’t find the handle, get out of your car and stand outside. Look through the driver’s side window as you
lock your vehicle
, and you should see the lock switch move.
