How do you install speakers in your car trunk?
I want to put a sound system in the trunk of my Corolla. How can I go about doing this?

“Installing a sound system is an awesome way to customize your car.
If you’re passionate about the project, it’s going to require a lot of time and materials, but it’s definitely possible!
First, you’ll need to gather these materials:
- Screwdrivers
- Torx drivers and bits
- Drill
- Allen wrench
- Socket wrench set
- Wirecutter
- Solder/ Soldering iron
- Crimping tools and connectors
- Panel removal tool
- Hobby knife
- Electrical tape
- Retaining clip remover
Then, follow these steps for installation:
- Disconnect your car’s battery.
- Consider where your tweeters and subwoofers will be.
- Check the size and shape of your new and old speakers.
- Pry the panels off with a trim removal tool.
- Unplug the speaker and pull out the blade connectors. Gently remove the factory speaker. Your speaker connects to the main wiring via a plug attached to a wiring harness.
- Connect your new speaker’s wiring harness.
- Reconnect your battery.
- Turn on the stereo and test your new speakers.
- Secure your new speaker with screws.
Once you’re ready to rock out with your new speakers, be sure they’re protected from theft or damage. Check with your
