How do you encourage people to use electric cars?
I have an electric car, and I love it. I think everyone should have one, if not for the environment, then just for the awesome perks it brings. I keep telling my neighbour he should buy one, but he’s on the fence. How do you encourage people to use electric cars?

Great question! Many people who could and should buy electric are hesitant to do so because of misconceptions about electric cars, including availability of charging stations, infrastructure worries, and battery life concerns. Because electric cars are still relatively new, a lot of these myths used to be true, but no longer are a concern.
As more states pledge to get rid of gas vehicles and more companies are building electric cars, more electric charging stations are popping up all the time. There are more than 113,600 chargers in the U.S. right now, with the government stating they want to add 89,000 to that number.
In January of 2022, the Biden administration announced an infrastructure bill that includes $7.5 billion dedicated to building a national network of electric vehicle charging stations, furthering this goal.
Electric vehicle batteries have a much better range than they used to. Most electric cars have a range of at least 130 miles, although some can go more than 200. Electric cars of the future are expected to have an even bigger range.
