How do you delete a phone from a Honda car’s Bluetooth?
My partner and I broke up, so needless to say, I don’t need to have their phone on my car’s Bluetooth anymore. Or on my car insurance. How do you delete a phone from a Honda car’s Bluetooth?

Having unused phones connected to your car’s Bluetooth can quickly become a hassle—luckily, it takes less than a few minutes to delete them from your Honda car’s list of connections.
While these steps might vary slightly depending on your Honda’s model and model year, here’s generally how to delete a phone from a Honda car’s Bluetooth connections list:
- On your infotainment system’s home screen, press the phone button
- Select the phone settings or phone setup option
- Select the Bluetooth setup option
- Select delete device
- On the list of paired devices, select the phone you want to delete
- When prompted, select yes to confirm the deletion of the device
That’s all there is to it! Once you’re finished, connecting to your Honda device should be much easier.
Since these steps vary somewhat from vehicle to vehicle, you can seek additional guidance in your Honda’s owner’s manual.
If your partner is listed as an additional driver on your car insurance policy, you can contact your agent to remove them if you haven’t already.
