I recently purchased a used 2014 Ford Escape and am still learning how to get all my tech features set up. I know this trim comes with Bluetooth and I really want to try it out. How do you connect Bluetooth to a 2014 Ford Escape?

It’s always exciting to see how your vehicle’s technology features work for the first time. When it comes to how to connect Bluetooth to a 2014
Ford Escape
, it’s pretty simple.
Start by ensuring that Bluetooth is activated on your phone. On your Ford’s SYNC multimedia system, press Phone to Add Phone. This will make your Escape discoverable to your mobile device. At this stage, you may need to enter the unique PIN displayed on your Ford’s touchscreen into your mobile device.
On your phone’s Bluetooth screen, select your Ford SYNC system. Your mobile device can now begin pairing with your Ford. The SYNC screen will confirm the pairing request and connect your device in seconds.
Once your device has been connected, you can store it as a Favourite Device on your vehicle. This will allow your phone to automatically connect to Bluetooth each time you enter the vehicle.
