There are two ways to clean up your Florida driving record. One way is to wait patiently for the points you racked up to expire. Traffic points in Florida stay on your driving record for 36 months.
Indicate your intent to attend a driver improvement course, either in person at the county clerk’s office or by mail if the citing officer gave you an envelope. Read the ticket carefully to ensure you take appropriate action before any deadlines.
Pay your course fee. This is usually around $25.
Check with the county clerk for specific requirements, and attend your course.
Present your certificate of completion to the county clerk.
