How do you clean the inside of a car windscreen?

What is the best way to clean a car's windscreen? The interior of my car windscreen is shockingly dirty even after wiping it down a few days ago. Is there a way to clean this area more effectively?

“The best way to clean a car’s windscreen is to use a microfiber cloth and rubbing alcohol-based cleaning solution.
Here’s how to make the cleaning solution. In a spray bottle, combine:
  • Half rubbing alcohol
  • Half water
  • A capful of vinegar
First, wipe the windscreen with a microfiber towel to get rid of any dirt or grime.
After that, spray the window generously with the alcohol solution. (You may want to cover the dashboard with a towel to avoid any damage.)
Finally, using a different cloth or a piece of newspaper, wipe down the glass from top to bottom until the streaks are gone.
It’s important to keep your windscreen crystal clear to increase visibility and decrease your
chances of getting into an accident
. By following the above steps, you should be good to go.
If you’re worried about other windshield issues—like cracks or chips—you should check with your insurance company. They may offer full glass coverage on your policy. If not, the
