How do you clean car seat straps with vomit on them?

What's the best way to clean car seat straps with vomit on them? My son threw up all over his car seat, and I'm not looking forward to cleaning up.

When it comes to kids and cars, no mess is unthinkable. Luckily, you’re not the first parent whose kid threw up in the car! Thanks to their experience, you can follow these steps to
clean vomit
off your car seat straps:
  • Step 1: Apply dish or baby soap to a washcloth and dampen it with cool water.
  • Step 2: Wipe the straps with your washcloth until it needs to be rinsed.
  • Step 3: Rinse the cloth and reapply soap before scrubbing the strap again.
  • Step 4: Repeat steps 2 and 3 until the strap is clean!
In some rare cases, you may need to let the straps dry before repeating the process. But that should only be necessary for worst-case scenarios. For next time, try leaving a few plastic bags in your car to prevent these kinds of cleanups in the future.
