How do you check the tire pressure on a Volkswagen Atlas?

In the past, I’ve always asked friends or family members for help when it came to car maintenance stuff—but I think it’s about time I learn how to do some of it on my own! How do you check the tire pressure on a Volkswagen Atlas?

If you’re just starting to learn about cars, a tire pressure check is a great place to begin. It’s one of the easiest car maintenance tasks, and can be performed by just about anyone—no experience required!
Here is the best way to check the tire pressure on a Volkswagen Atlas:
  • Always keep an eye out for the low-tire pressure light on your car’s dashboard. This alert looks like a flat tire with an exclamation point inside it, and lets you know when one or more of your tires need air.
  • You can find the correct tire pressure for your car by looking it up in your owner’s manual, or by consulting the sticker located inside your driver-side door. Depending on your trim level and model year, this should be between 30 and 35 PSI.
  • To check your car’s tire pressure, remove the valve caps from all four tires and press your tire pressure gauge on each valve stem to get a reading for each tire.
Once you know which tires are low, simply head to your local gas station and use their air pump to fill them up again. If you’ve filled your tires to the correct pressure, your low tire pressure light will shut off, and you can be on your way!
