Are all spark plugs the same?

I know I need new spark plugs, but there are so many different options that I'm not sure which ones to buy. Are all spark plugs the same?

No, not all spark plugs are the same. While it doesn’t matter which brand of spark plugs you purchase for your engine, they do come in different measurements and are made of different materials.
When buying spark plugs, always check your owner’s manual, so you know what size plugs your engine needs.
There are two main kinds of spark plugs: standard spark plugs and performance spark plugs. Unsurprisingly, standard spark plugs are the most common for most vehicles. Performance plugs suit the same purpose as standard plugs but are made of more durable metals like platinum and iridium.
Regarding pricing, standard copper spark plugs are the most affordable at around $10 each, while platinum and iridium cost more at $25 a pop.
Keep in mind that the most expensive spark plugs aren’t necessarily what’s best for your engine. You’ll need to check and see what your car needs. The same goes for your
