How do you check the tire pressure on a 2015 Ford Explorer?

I usually rely on my Ford Explorer’s TPMS to tell me when I need to fill my tires with air but it is broken. How do you check the tire pressure on a 2015 Ford Explorer?

I’m sorry to hear that! A faulty TPMS can be troublesome and worth fixing if you don’t check your car’s tire pressure at least once a month.
Luckily, you can
purchase a tire pressure gauge
at your local auto parts store for just $4 and use that to check your 2015 Ford Explorer’s tire pressure. Here how:
  • Disconnect the air valve cap
  • Press the tire gauge onto the valve stem
  • Read the air pressure gauge
  • Compare the number to the recommended tire pressure found on the driver’s door jam sticker
If your tire pressure gauge reads well below 33 psi which is the recommended tire pressure for most 2015 Ford Explorers, you have
underinflated tires
and are at risk for a tire blowout. You should head to your local gas station sooner rather than later to inflate your tires to the correct tire pressure.
Since the correct tire pressure may vary depending on trim level or if you’ve made any upgrades to your wheels, check the driver’s side door jam sticker or tires to confirm the correct tire pressure for your Explorer.
