How do you change the tail light bulb on a 2014 Hyundai Sonata?
The tail light in my Hyundai just went out, and I want to fix it before I get a ticket. I’ve never done it before, and I’m not sure how. How do you replace the tail light in a 2014 Hyundai Sonata?

Luckily, it’s quick and easy to change the tail light bulb on a 2014 Hyundai Sonata.
To change the tail light bulb on your 2014
Hyundai
Sonata, all you’ll need is a small Phillips head screwdriver, a pair of gloves, and the replacement bulb. To get started, look up the replacement part number in your owner’s manual and buy the new bulb. Then do the following:- Open the trunk and move to affected side
- Locate the rectangular access panel and pull open
- Find the brake light socket (light gray)
- Turn the socket counterclockwise and pull out
- Press down and turn burnt-out bulb and pull out to remove
- Wearing gloves to avoid smudges, install the new bulb in the socket
- Replace the socket and access panel
- Close the trunk and test the new bulb
All done! Your brake light should be in working order now. Great job!
