How do you change the battery in a Toyota Sienna key fob?
I’ve had my Toyota Sienna for a while now and the key fob just stopped working. I think it needs a new battery, but I don’t know how to replace it. What steps should I take to change the battery in my Toyota Sienna key fob?

Key fobs are now a standard feature in most cars. You’d be hard-pressed to find a newer car without one! Thankfully, it’s easy to change a key fob’s battery. Follow these steps to change the battery in your
Toyota Sienna
key fob:- Buy a new battery. Most key fobs, including the Toyota Sienna’s, take a CR2032.
- Insert a coin in the notch at the top of your key fob and twist it sideways to pull pry open your key.
- Slide the old battery out of its slot with either your fingernail or a flathead screwdriver.
- Insert your new battery in the same position you found the old one. Use the + and - marks to guide you.
- Align the two halves of your key fob and snap it back together.
- Test it out!
Hopefully, these steps will make it easy for you to change your key fob battery! Remember, key fob batteries usually last around 3-4 years. So you’ll likely need to change it a few more times.
