Changing brake fluid is essential to the efficiency and operation of your car’s brake system.
Brake fluid absorbs contaminants over time and causes the brakes to be less efficient. Replacing it with clean brake fluid makes sure your brakes work at peak performance and have a long lifespan.
- Use a baster to remove the contaminated brake fluid from the reservoir in the master cylinder
- Use a cloth to clean the reservoir if you have access to it
- Add new brake fluid to the reservoir and fill to the “Full” line
