How do you change a Honda CR-V headlight bulb?

Can you tell me how to change a Honda CR-V headlight bulb? I don’t want to mess anything up, but I also don’t want to take my car in just to get the headlight replaced.

Sure thing! It’s surprisingly simple.
Here’s how to change a
Honda CR-V
headlight bulb:
  • Open the hood
of your car and remove the under-hood fuse box on the driver’s side. You should be able to pull it out without too much trouble.
  • Pull the electrical connector for the bulb straight back to remove it.
  • Remove the rubber weather seal by pulling on the tab.
  • Unclip the end of the hold-down wire from its slot.
  • Pivot the end of the wire out of the way, then carefully remove the bulb.
  • Push the tabs of the new bulb into the corresponding slots.
  • Pivot the hold-down wire back into place and clip the end back into the slot.
  • Replace the rubber seal, making sure that one of the three arrows is facing up.
  • Securely connect the bulb to the electrical connector.
  • Replace the fuse box.
  • Turn on your headlights to test your new bulb.
