Is a 1.4 L engine good for a first car?

I’m trying to choose my first car, and I found one within my budget that’s listed as having a 1.4 L engine. Is that good for my first car? I don’t know much about cars, so I’m not sure what I should be looking for.

Yes, a 1.4 L engine should be good for
your first car
! However, it’s a good idea to steer clear of anything larger than 1.4 L, as it can become expensive to insure vehicles with larger engines, especially for newer drivers.
In fact, you could opt for a smaller engine for your first car, since it’s unlikely that you’ll need a 1.4 L engine. Large engines like this are typically used for hauling lots of passengers, luggage, etc. Instead, you could opt for a car with a 1.0 to 1.2 L engine for a lower insurance rate.
Whether you decide to go with the 1.4 L engine or downsize to a smaller one, you could have a hard time finding affordable insurance as a first-time driver. Luckily, the
