How do you change a 2015 Honda Pilot headlight bulb?
I’ve had my 2015 Honda Pilot for a few years now. My passenger side low-beam headlight just went out. How can I change my Honda Pilot’s headlight?

The Pilot is a great car to own long-term! And luckily, the headlight bulb is not too difficult to replace on your own. Before you begin, make sure you have a replacement #H11 low-beam bulb. Then, follow these steps:
- Stick your hand in behind the low-beam bulb and depress the tab on the plastic electrical plug. Disconnect it from the bulb by sliding it straight down towards the ground.
- Turn the bulb counterclockwise to loosen it. Then, pull it straight out from the headlight assembly.
- Insert the new #H11 bulb into the assembly. Turn it a ¼ turn clockwise to tighten it. If possible, wear gloves when installing the bulb as any dirt or grease can heat up when the bulb is on and cause it to shatter.
- Reconnect the electrical socket by sliding it into the bottom of the bulb. Listen for a click to ensure that the plastic connector tab is secured.
Now, you’ve successfully replaced the headlight bulb in your Honda Pilot!
