How do I turn on the heater in a Honda Civic?

It started snowing today and I’m borrowing my mom’s car. I couldn’t figure out how to turn the heat on. How do I use the heater in a Honda Civic?

Oh no, it sounds like you had one cold ride! One downside of borrowing someone’s car is you don’t always know how to use it. Luckily, turning on the heater in a
Honda Civic
is a piece of cake. Here’s how you do it:
  1. Turn on the climate control system using the ON/OFF button.
  2. Disable the A/C compressor by pressing the button labeled A/C. The green light on the button should shut off.
  3. Select the warmest setting on your climate system by turning the temperature knob to red.
  4. Adjust fan speed accordingly.
From there, you should have a warm car ride home! If that doesn’t work, your mom may have an issue with her heater. A mechanic or dealership can help determine what the cause may be.
Since you’re borrowing your mom’s Honda, make sure she has the best car insurance coverage on it
