I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with your
Honda’s
parking brake.
The automatic parking brakes that cars are using these days do tend to annoy a lot of drivers. You can turn off the parking brake in your
Honda Cr-V
by following these steps:
  • Start the Honda
  • Without pressing on the brake pedal, lift the parking brake lever (directly to the right of the driver’s seat).
  • Hold the parking brake lever up until you hear a rapid beeping sound.
  • Release the parking brake lever. Then, immediately pull it back up again and hold until you hear one long beep.
  • The automatic parking brake is now disabled.
You can re-enable the automatic parking brake again by repeating the process above.
Cars come with all sorts of extra safety features intended to improve the driver’s safety—but they can’t protect against everything. You’ll also need to have good
car insurance
to stay safe on the road.
