I just got a new car and I have to drive out of town next week. I’ve never used cruise control in this car before, and I want to make sure I have it down before driving on the highway. How do I turn the cruise control on and off in a Nissan Altima?

Congratulations on your new car! Getting a new car comes with lots of other new things, including
car insurance
and learning all the new features of your car. Luckily, working your new cruise control is pretty simple. To turn it on, push the switch on the steering wheel marked ON/OFF to on. Next, set your cruising speed by accelerating to the speed you want and pushing the COAST/SET switch.
You have three options to turn off cruise control: tap the brake pedal, push the CANCEL button, or push the ON/OFF switch to off.
Cruise control is typically pretty easy to operate, just like the Jerry app.
