How do I renew Apple CarPlay for my BMW?

I’ve owned BMWs for a while now and in that time I’ve switched between iPhones and Androids. A few days ago, I made the switch back to iPhone and I’m trying to figure out how to pay for my Apple CarPlay service. Do I need to renew my service? If so, how can I do this?

In the past, BMW has been one of the few car manufacturers to charge drivers for Apple CarPlay services. However, in 2020, BMW decided to stop charging for the use of Apple CarPlay for all BMW models, so you will not have to pay for or renew any services.
