I live in a wet area and mold developed on my car door. Can you tell me how to remove mold from car paint?

That’s no good. Luckily, some household ingredients can help you remove the mold from your car’s paint without causing any
damage
. Here are the steps to the process:
  • Find a clean rag and soak a spot in olive oil.
  • Rub the mold with olive oil. The olive oil will act as a lubricant when you use a wool pad to buff out the mold in the next step.
  • Use a wool buffer pad to clean the mold off. Apply pressure as you wipe in a circular motion.
  • Soak another portion of the rag in mineral spirits and rub the mold spot. Let this sit for a few seconds and wipe the area with a soft, clean cloth. This step will kill any remaining mold spores.
  • Use another clean rag to wipe the area with white vinegar. This will prevent future mold buildups.
Once the mold is taken care of, think about other ways to take care of your vehicle with roadside assistance.
