How do I remove house paint from my car?

Oops! I was repainting the exterior of my house, and I was not being as cautious as I should have been. Now there is a big splotch of house paint on my blue BMW's driver-side door. How do I remove the house paint from my car?

Yikes, that’s a tough challenge! Removing house paint from your car without damaging the vehicle can be difficult without professional help.
One way to remove the paint is to use rubbing alcohol. Protect the clear coat around the damage with painter’s tape, and apply rubbing alcohol to the paint splatter. Use a clean towel to rub the rubbing alcohol onto the paint. Then, apply an oil-based cleaner to the splatters. Finally, use a clay bar to remove any extra splatter and wash the area with soap and water to remove the chemicals.
For the easiest, least risky repair, bring the car to a body shop. They will have a special solvent that will remove the house paint without damaging the car paint.
If you’re looking for coverage from unforeseen events to help offset the cost of repairs, you’ll need good
