Toyota Camry
in neutral with a dead battery is fairly simple. Just follow these steps:- Locate the small slot just above the P on the Camry’s gear panel to the left of the gear shift.
- Insert a flathead screwdriver in the slot and gently pry up the 1-inch square top-left corner of the plastic cover to expose a small button.
- Press the button down, then press the button on the gear shift handle to move it to the N position.
Your car is now in neutral so you can roll it out of your garage. You can either follow these steps to re-engage your parking brake or simply set your emergency brake to keep your car from rolling when it’s in neutral.
