How do I pull the back seat down in a Honda Accord?

I’m making a trip to IKEA to buy a new dresser, but I only have my car to haul the box. How can I fold the back seat down in my 2013 Honda Accord to make more room?

IKEA trips are a true test of how much you can fit in your car. Thankfully, folding down the rear seats in your
Honda Accord
is pretty easy. Here’s how you do it:
  • Pop the trunk to access the seatback release pulls. There are two releases located on either side of the trunk next to the deck hinges.
  • Pull the releases straight towards the back of the vehicle to release the seatbacks.
  • Fold down each rear seatback by going to either side of the vehicle. You’ll want to pull the seats down towards the front of the car. You may need to remove the headrests or push the front seats forward to allow the rear seats to fold down fully.
Once you’ve pulled down your seats, you’re ready for your trip to IKEA!
