How do I open the gas tank on an Infiniti QX80?

I just bought a brand-new Infiniti QX80 and I love it so far. However, I’m in a bit of a tough spot—I have no idea how to fill the gas tank! What do I need to do to open the gas tank on my QX80?

Because the Infiniti has no levers, buttons, or latches in the cabin of the vehicle, it’s a bit confusing for new drivers. But don’t stress! It’s easy! To open the gas tank on an Infiniti QX80, follow these steps:
  1. Go to the driver’s side of the vehicle and locate the gas filler door.
  2. Press firmly on the right-hand side of the gas filler door. It’s spring-loaded, so this should open it.
  3. After you’re done filling the tank, push on the same spot to close the gas tank door.
