My older sister got a brand new car last year and she let me use it for a trip into the city with my friends. I want to refill the gas tank but I don’t know how to get it open. How do I open the gas tank on a 2022 Honda Accord?

To open the gas tank on a 2022 Honda Accord, press and release on the right side of the exterior fuel door.
Most older cars had a switch or lever by the driver’s side floor that opened the fuel door. A 2022
Honda Accord
has no interior switch. Instead, you have to go outside and lightly press on the fuel door. It has a spring hinge mechanism, so the door will pop open when you release it.
The 2022 model has a capless fuel filler system. Once you open the fuel door, there is no gas cap to unscrew! Simply fuel up and then press the fuel door until it clicks. It might seem like a risky design, but Honda specifically built this mechanism so the fuel door only opens when the car is parked and off.
