How do I open the gas tank on a 2004 Toyota Sienna?
I’ve only had my license for a couple of months and my parents just got me a used 2004 Toyota Sienna for my birthday. I want to make sure I know how to get gas on my own—how does the gas tank open for a 2004 Toyota Sienna?

- Locate and pull the gas tank release lever under the dash on the driver’s side of the vehicle
- Walk around to your gas tank, then remove the gas cap by simultaneously pushing it down and turning it to the left
Once the gas cap is off, you can stick the fuel pump in the tank and start filling up! After you’re satisfied with the amount of gas you’ve added, be sure to put the gas cap back on by simply twisting it to the right. Shut the gas tank lid door again and you’re done!
