How do I make GTA 4 car mods?

I love playing Grand Theft Auto. I want to mix it up a bit by modifying my car. What do I need to do to add GTA 4 car mods?

Although it’s a bit complicated, adding mods to a car in Grand Theft Auto can definitely shake things up.
To make GTA 4 car mods, follow these instructions:
  1. Go to gtagaming.com
  2. Select the car you want
  3. Download the corresponding files
  4. Highlight the files within the .zip folder and put them on your desktop
  5. Rename the files to reflect which car you want to replace
  6. Open the folder in GTA 4 > PC > Models > CD Images > Vehicles.image
  7. Drag and drop the files from your desktop into this folder
  8. Replace the old handling line in the data folder
Replacing the old handling line is a bit difficult, so you may want to hop on YouTube for further instructions.
