Fortunately, moving up trim levels won’t increase your price too much—the 2.5 S starts at $22,650, while the most expensive 2.5 Turbo starts at $31,050.All trim levels include a 2.5L inline-four gas engine, except the 2.5 Turbo which is equipped with a turbo engine. If you prefer driving a stick shift, the Premium is available in manual. Finally, all trim levels except the 2.5 S are available in all-wheel drive for an additional $1,400, with the option coming standard on the 2.5 Turbo.
The Preferred and higher trim levels also include standard features such as heated seats and a power-adjustable driver’s seat with a memory setting. They’ll also include upgraded infotainment systems, including a 12-speaker Bose audio system and SiriusXM satellite radio. If you want Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities, choose any trim above the base.

How to customize your Mazda 3 Hatchback to save money
Although the Mazda 3 Hatchback is quite affordable, adding on customizations will inevitably make the price go up.
For example, the 2.5 S has a starting MSRP of $22,650, but the highest trim level—the 2.5 Turbo—will cost you at least $31,050. Adding on all-wheel drive is about $1,400, and additional packages or modifications can raise the sticker price by hundreds or thousands of dollars. Just choosing the premium color, Soul Red, will cost you an extra $595.
