How do I install mods in Car Mechanic Simulator 2018?

I want to install a car mod in Car Mechanic Simulator 2018, but I only know how to install other types of mods in the root folder. Those usually come with instructions or you can figure out where they go based on the folder names, but I don’t see anything like that in my new car mod. How do I get it installed?

Installing car mods in Car Mechanic Simulator 2018 (CMS) is different from installing other types of mods. Once you’ve done it, though, you’ll probably think it’s actually a bit easier.
To install your car mod in CMS, follow these two steps:
  • Unzip the downloaded archive mod
  • Copy the folder under Car Mechanic Simulator 2018/cms2018_Data/StreamingAssets/Car
And voila! You’re all set with your new mod!
