How do I fix the power sliding door on a Toyota Sienna?

yourself, but keep in mind that it’s a pretty lengthy job that may be better suited for a professional. If you feel like you can tackle it yourself, here’s how it’s done:
- Roll down the window on the door that’s stuck.
- Remove the hex screw holding the inner door handle in place.
- Slide the lock tab into the door, keeping it in the unlock position. This ensures that it won’t fall out when you take off the plastic panel.
- Carefully remove the plastic panel, making sure to pop out the white tabs holding the panel in place without breaking them. Reach behind the panel and unplug the power window button before fully removing the panel.
- On the outside of the door, you will see a window molding. Pry this off by detaching the clip that holds it in place. You may need to jiggle it a little to remove it.
- Remove the plastic panel that covers the sliding door cable under the rear quarter window. Pry this off.
- Take out the nut that holds the cable in the bracket and slide the assembly out of the bracket.
- Remove the three bolts that hold the cable assembly in place inside the door. They are located where the cable turns 90 degrees.
- Remove the two bolts under the arm holding the door to the body of the van.
- Remove the screws that hold the side door release actuator in place. This component is located in the pulley system in the bottom right corner of the track.
- Remove the side-door cable assembly. Install the new cable assembly in reverse order of the removal process.
