The 2010 Ford Focus
comes with Bluetooth via its SYNC system in some trim levels. Your used Focus may have Bluetooth capabilities, but it may not. SYNC and Bluetooth are standard features included in the Driver’s Group package in the SEL and SES trims. Bluetooth was also available as an add-on option with the Rapid Spec 201A or 202A for the SE trim level.
If you’re not sure which trim 2010 focus you have, look for the “SYNC” emblem on your dashboard, near your controls. You can also check your owner’s manual to confirm details.
If your Ford is, in fact, Bluetooth-ready, here’s how you can connect your phone:
First, ensure that Bluetooth is activated on your mobile device. You can typically do this via your phone’s settings.
Then, on your SYNC multimedia system, press Phone > Add Phone. The system is now discoverable from your mobile device and may display a unique PIN.
Finally, on your mobile device, select your Ford SYNC system in the Bluetooth menu. The two will now begin pairing, and your SYNC screen will confirm the pairing request.
