How do I check the oil level in my BMW 320i?
Is there a way for me to check the oil level in my BMW 320i without a dipstick? I bought my car used and the dipstick is super stained, so I can’t tell how much oil is left in the car. What’s the best way to check the oil level in my BMW?

A stained dipstick can make it more difficult to check the oil level in your car, but there’s still a way to check the oil level in your
BMW 320i
! Here’s how:- Turn on your car and let it run until your engine warms up. Depending on the temperature outside, this can take five to twenty minutes.
- Look to the lower left of your wheel and find the board computer (BC) button. Press this button inward.
- Use the stalk next to the button to scroll through the various available options on the display screen until you reach check oil level.
- To select this option, press the BC button one more time.
- It will take about three minutes for the small clock on the screen to stop moving. If you’re driving, it will take closer to five minutes.
- After this period has passed, the clock should stop, and your oil level will appear on the screen.
- If your display shows +1 or another number, you’ll need to add more oil to your car. Otherwise, you can use the information on the display to check and monitor your oil level as needed!
