How do I check the oil in a Ford F150?

How do I check my Ford F150’s oil? I just got this car, so I’m not sure what some of its features mean and I’m worried about oil levels.

Lucky for you, a Ford F150 comes with its own low oil level warning. The first sign that your oil levels are not up to optimal condition is through that warning.
But there are some other ways you can check your oil levels in case your warning signal isn’t operating properly.
Here’s what you need to do: Ensure your vehicle is parked on flat ground. Don’t start your engine. Open the hood of your car and locate the dipstick (it looks like a yellow leveller you can remove). Pull out the dipstick and wipe it with a clean, soft cloth. Put the dipstick back in and make sure it’s pushed all the way in. Remove the dipstick again to check the oil level. Your oil levels are good if you see the oil line between the maximum and minimum marks. You need to add oil ASAP if your oil line is below the minimum mark. Push the dipstick all the way back in.
Checking your oil levels is part of a regular
maintenance schedule
and a good way to ensure your truck runs smoothly for a long time.
