Great question! To check if your Kia warranty is still valid, call your local Kia dealership or head to, log in to the Owner’s Portal, and navigate to the Maintenance page. You’ll find information about your Kia and how long is left on your existing warranty.
The Kia Basic Limited Warranty is Kia’s bumper-to-bumper warranty that offers coverage for most parts and accessories for 10 years or up to 100,000 miles. Most items are covered under this warranty except for typical wear and use items such as brake pads, tires, and windshield wiper wipers.
However, several items have a shorter warranty. These include:
  • Original battery: 3 years or up to 36,000 miles
  • Audio and entertainment system and paint: 3 years or up to 36,000 miles
  • Paint repair due to nonimpact reasons: 3 years or up to 36,000 miles
  • Air conditioner refrigerant charge: 12 months and unlimited mileage
  • Brake and clutch linings: 12 months and unlimited mileage
Having warranty coverage on your Kia is a great way to avoid unnecessary car expenses, but did you know you can also save on car expenses when you shop for
