The Ford Edge is a great SUV for a young driver—and what a generous gift!

The 2014 Ford Edge is widely regarded as the best make of the Ford Edge to date. This is because it was the last make of the model before a newer generation, and Ford could finally iron out all the small details holding the vehicle back. The 2014 Ford Edge was voted the best mid-sized SUV for the money.

However, at 9 years old, you might be hard-pressed to find a 2014 Ford Edge that doesn’t already have a ton of mileage on it. Rest assured that newer Ford Edges still get great ratings. For example, the 2020 Edge has a predicted J.D. Power reliability score of 82 out of 100, which is considered “great.”
