How do I change the time on a Honda Civic?

I’m struggling to figure out how to change the time on my Honda Civic. It's an older model, so it’s not as simple as entering a settings menu and changing it from there. Any tips?

The clock settings in older cars can be tricky to understand. These often counterintuitive settings lead to many driving around with incorrect clocks. Luckily, it’s actually quite simple to change the time in your
Honda Civic
 with these quick steps:
  1. Put your car in park.
  2. Press and hold the AM/FM button for a few seconds. The time display should begin to blink.
  3. Use the number 1, 2, or 3 buttons to change the hour, minutes, or reset your clock. You should see an H, M, or R near the numbers to indicate what does what.
  4. Press and hold the AM/FM button to set the time and exit the clock settings.
