How much does the driving test cost in Florida?
I’m going to be able to drive soon and I want to get my learner’s permit. I’ve studied the Official Driver Handbook and practiced night and day, and I think I’m ready. How much do I have to pay to take the driving test?

Your initial Florida driving test is free, but any retakes will cost you $20, and you’ll need to be ready to pay a $48 licensing fee when you pass.
If you need to retake your written Class E knowledge exam, it will cost you just $10.
If you’re studying and practicing, you’re already doing everything you can to pass. Don’t forget to bring proof of vehicle registration, proof of insurance, and a working vehicle to the test. Good luck!
